       NATIONAL TEAM COACH VISIT UPDATE!

Dates: Saturday February 27th and Sunday, February 28th

Time: 8 am- 6:30 on Saturday (The day ends with a social for participants)
         8am - 5 pm on Sunday

Location: Grand Ledge High School, (10 miles west of DowntownLansing)

Coaches: Hugh McCutchen - Women's Head Coach (Saturday ONLY)
               Gary Sato - Assistant Coach with the Men's National Team
               John Kessel - Director of Grassroots and the Disabled Program for USA Volleyball

Cost: USAV Registered Coaches
 $30 to attend 1 day or $55 for both Days
         Non-USAV Registered Coaches - $50 for 1 day or $95 for both
Players - $20
Kids 3-8 graders free Kidz Klinic
       Have some of your players coach your Instructional league or Middle /Elementary teams. We would like to encourage those players to attend the clinic for a special rate of $20 on Sunday as John Kessel will emphasize teaching/training the younger player that day.

Format: Coaches, this is a full 2 day session. You may opt to attend only one day. Each day will cover many topics. We will be using 2 courts most of the time.
On Sunday there will be a Kidz Klinic Session for 3-8th graders
 More info to follow as we work it out with the coaches.



        INCLEMENT WEATHER: Parents/players - if you feel you will encounter unsafe driving conditions, you should not come to practice. Please notify your coach that you will not be attending practice.

If practice is cancelled due to severe inclement weather, your coach will notify you and we will attempt to post on the website...

Lansing Area Volleyball Association is a non-profit, community service program of the Lansing Community College Department of Physical Fitness and Wellness that offers programs to the community to promote excellence in the sport of volleyball. LAVA provides camps, clinics, and club teams for all skill levels, where youth will be involved with a quality program of skill development and competition appropriate to their age and skill level. LAVA focuses on building a strong foundation for those who are new to the sport, as well as providing intense challenges to advanced players.
