Payment Schedule

All payments must be paid on or before the due date unless arrangements are made with the Club Director. Late payments will result in a $25 fee assessed to the player's account. In the case of non-payment of fees, Lansing Community has a policy of sending overdue accounts to collections. The player will be suspended from the program until the account is paid in full. Please make arrangements with the LAVA Director for a fee payment schedule and prevent the account being sent to collections.

Make all checks payable to Lansing Community College and write the player's full name in the memo section to clearly identify the player receiving the credit.

Please mail checks to: Lansing Community College

Refund Policy

Participants and their parents must carefully read all registration materials prior to enrolling in any program. Questions about the fees, schedules, requirements, refund policies and all program information must be addressed prior to enrollment.

Due to costs incurred by the participant's registration, NO REFUNDS will be issued once a program/tryout has begun. If a player quits the program before the end of the season, parents are required to pay for their child's share of expenses for the entire season. In the case of an injury documented by a physician that an athlete cannot continue with a program, a refund will be issued at a prorated amount determined by the Director. A player who is dismissed from the program will not receive a refund under any circumstances.

Addressing Player & Parent Concerns

Players have the first responsibility to discuss any questions or issues they may have with their coach. In an effort to positively resolve questions and issues, the following process will be used:

1) Player arranges time to speak with coach before or after practice; issues are defined and discussed and a plan of action is initiated.

2) Parent and Player arrange meeting with coach to resolve concerns.

3) Parent, Player, Coach and Club Director meet to discuss problem.

Inclement Weather

Parents/players - if you feel you will encounter unsafe driving conditions, you should not come to practice. Please notify your coach that you will not be attending practice.

If practice is cancelled due to severe inclement weather, your coach will notify you and we will attempt to post on the website.
